Premier League winner odds 2023/24: Man City odds-on ahead of Arsenal and Liverpool

The Premier League season kicks off on August 12 and the summer transfer window looks be pivotal in the odds.

talkSPORT BET have Man City as the odds on favourites early on, with a firm squad already in place, while also being centred around the last season’s top scorer, Erling Haaland.

It’s rare a team has this short a price this early on but with City’s squad rotation clearly far and above any others and their dominance in recent years, it’s really not surprising.

Arsenal mounted a huge challenge last season and if anything almost over achieved with the young squad they have.

But the summer transfer window for the Gunners could play a key role in helping their squad depth and acquiring Declan Rice has surely helped towards gaining more success for the 2023/24 season.

Mikel Arteta’s ability to get the most out of their younger talented squad may be enough to see them challenge for more silverware too, especially after their Community Shield victory at the start of August.

Premier League outright winner odds

  • Manchester City – 4/6
  • Arsenal – 9/2
  • Liverpool – 7/1
  • Manchester United – 10/1
  • Chelsea – 16/1

Chelsea’s odds have improved considering last year’s Premier League finish.

They’ve had a busy summer transfer window though and acquired two proven goalscorers in Christopher Nkunku and and Nicolas Jackson, who’ve already made an impact in the Premier League summer series.

The former is out with an injury for an indeterminable amount of time but once back, should be sided with to gain a few goals quickly.

Luton and Sheffield United are odds-on to finish in the relegation zone this season, but will be looking to replicate Fulham and Nottingham Forest’s ability to stay up in their first season back in the top flight.

Other teams that will need to spend big this summer to avoid relegation are the Championship play-off winners Luton Town, who are odds-on favourite to finish in the relegation zone.

Premier League Bottom 3 finish odds

  • Luton Town – 1/3
  • Sheffield United – 8/11
  • Burnley – 9/4
  • Bournemouth – 5/2
  • Nottingham Forest – 11/4

Forest spent big in their first year attempting to bolster their squad and avoid relegation.

They finished just four points off relegation with two wins in their final four games being enough to confirm their safety.

Forest avoided sacking Steve Cooper which will potentially give them the stability to help save them this season if he can build on the squad they have while also selling players to help cut into their near £200m transfer fees from the 2022/23 season.

Burnley were clear in the Championship this season, attaining a staggering 101 points and only losing three all season.

Vincent Kompany’s start as a manager couldn’t be any better and he will look to build on that in his first season as a Premier League boss, returning for the first time since retiring from playing in 2020.
